Abstract

The objective of this case study is to explain the connections between scientific research and the study of administrative sciences. Being a social science, administration requires certain methodological components that allow its configuration. To that end, the scientific research process and its elements related to research in administrative sciences are described. This article, which is based on numerous consultations with databases and repositories, concludes that The text describes the importance of research in obtaining new knowledge and its application in solving problems in any area of ​​interest, emphasizing the relevance of research in the field of administration. Market research and root cause research are highlighted as two important types of research in management. In addition, the importance of research for society is highlighted and the University of Sucre has proposed as a strategic objective to carry out high-level research that contributes to the social, political and productive transformation of the region and the country.
