Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze the importance of the study of political language to understand the fundamental concepts of political science, legal science and constitutional law, which allows interpreting political power, government and the state. It is the product of a descriptive investigation, of documentary design that collected information from secondary sources, through research sheets applied to different scientific and doctrinal documents on political language. The analysis suggests that the importance of political language is related to politics, philosophy, semiotics and structuralism. Political words are polysemic and their meaning can vary depending on the context, which can influence the understanding and analysis of political power and the State. The study of political language is essential to understand the fundamental concepts of political science, legal science and law, allowing the interpretation of political reality.
